Growth is not a ladder.
Growing up — I’ve come to realize — is much more like a tiny, white, helpless snowball starting to roll down the tip of a steep, snowy mountain.
It accelerates, it free-falls, it veers off-road, forcefully gathering everything in its path — getting bigger, faster, and dirtier as it goes.
Bad news: we’ve been doing it wrong all along, trying to climb a ladder.
Good news: now we know how to buckle up, embrace the chaos, and roll on!
