We all have an innate intention to be good — to do good. We genuinely want to act morally. I don’t doubt that.
And yet we fail. Collectively.
We fail, miserably.
We lie.
We envy.
We cheat — or at least think about it.
We run.
We hide.
We cannot all be pigs, can we?
Could it be time to take a step back and redefine “Good”?
Could it be just the right time to revise the Moral code before more guilt crushes more of us?
Can we at least admit its failure? Can we admit ours?
